Frequently Asked Questions
01 What counts as a page?
One page equals one physical page of a document. A 10-page PDF is 10 pages. A single image counts as one page. Multi-page scanned files (like TIFFs) count each frame as a page.
02 What happens if I go over my monthly page allowance?
You can continue processing. Extra pages are billed at the overage rate listed on your tier. No surprise cut-offs. No throttling.
03 Am I charged when extraction fails?
No. If our system cannot process a page due to an error on our end, you will not be charged.
04 Is my data secure? Does Unstract train on it?
We never train on customer data. All data is encrypted and discarded after processing.
05 Can I migrate from Cloud to On-Premise later?
Yes. Projects are portable between deployments.
